The myth that having a baby means surrendering your taste has always been a little suspect. CYBEX is making it harder to believe. The brand's latest Platinum line — a refresh of its most iconic stroller models — is built on the premise that elevated design and real-world functionality are not, in fact, mutually exclusive.

According to Harper's Bazaar, the collection reimagines four signature models — the Priam, e-Priam, Mios, and Coÿa — with refined finishes and updated fabrics that draw from the language of modern furnishings. Think less "gear" and more considered object design. CYBEX founder Martin Pos put it plainly: the goal is products that are "intelligently engineered, emotionally resonant, and uncompromising in quality" — designed not just to look good, but to disappear into your life seamlessly.

The Details Are the Point

The e-Priam arrives with leatherette-lined handlebars, motorized assistance, hands-free rocking, and an app integration — premium in every literal sense. The slimmer Mios and adaptable Coÿa, both built for constant motion, get elevated with sharper finishings that make the lightweight frames feel intentional rather than minimal-by-default. The original Priam — known for balancing agility with substance — has been tuned to hit harder at every touchpoint. New to the lineup is the Fold Lux carry cot, which compresses to half its size and fits in overhead airplane compartments, because the family that travels shouldn't have to choose between bringing the good stuff and actually moving through the world.

Customization runs through the entire collection: frames come in matte black, chrome, or rose gold, paired with five new fabric colorways and an XXL sun canopy that reads more architectural feature than accessory. It's the kind of modularity that rewards the person who cares about their stroller the same way they care about their apartment.

The Platinum line is a reminder that the standards you held before kids don't have to disappear the moment you have them — they just need products smart enough to keep up.
