Hudson Williams has a red-carpet philosophy, and it's working. The Heated Rivalry star has quietly built a signature look — tailored suiting worn over a deliberately unbuttoned shirt, with jewelry doing the heavy lifting where a tie would be safe and boring. He debuted nothing new at the 2026 Canadian Screen Awards. He just did it better.

According to Harper's Bazaar, Williams arrived in an espresso-toned Dolce & Gabbana single-breasted tuxedo — silky chocolate lapels, clean shoulders, straight-leg trousers — styled by Anastasia Walker. The base was classic. The execution was not. A white silk-satin dress shirt, several buttons open, gave the look its tension, and in place of a tie, Williams wore a thick gold-and-silver pavé diamond Lariat necklace from Fope. Chunky hoops and stacked David Yurman rings in gold finished it. The whole effect lands somewhere between very expensive and effortlessly undone — which is, of course, the hardest thing to pull off.

The Night Belonged to Heated Rivalry

Williams didn't just show up well-dressed — he went home with Best Lead Performer, Drama Series, part of a record-breaking 16 prizes the show collected that evening. His acceptance speech was the kind that gets clipped and shared: he thanked the cast and crew of Heated Rivalry, the streamer Crave, HBO for the broader audience, and author Rachel Reid for building the universe. He thanked his partner Katelyn Larson for "keeping me stable, because sometimes I'm not." And then he closed by dedicating half the award to costar Connor Storrie — calling him an "honorary Canadian" and crediting his own performance to having "a big sexy Russian to feast upon."

It was exactly as disarming and specific as a great speech should be. Much like the outfit: intentional, a little bit daring, and completely his.

When a man finds a formula that flatters him and commits to it without apology, the jewelry gets to become the entire conversation.
