According to Vogue, the color landed at deep espresso with almost-reddish highlights woven in for dimension — a meaningful upgrade from the dark honey blonde balayage she'd briefly experimented with earlier this year. Holmes had let her hair grow nearly to her hips before committing to the chop, but she's never been a stranger to it.
