Anna Lambe is about to be everywhere — and fashion just got the first look. The 25-year-old Inuk actor, best known for her starring role in the critically lauded Canadian sitcom North of North, made her front-row debut this week at Louis Vuitton's resort 2027 show, held at The Frick museum in New York. According to Vogue, the invitation caught her so off guard she had to confirm with her team that it was actually real.

The show itself — Nicolas Ghesquière's signature exercise in time-traveling cool — did not disappoint. Lambe was drawn to what she described as a journey through regions and decades, "almost like mini-collections within a collection." The soundtrack sealed it: opening with Peaches' iconic The Boys Wanna Be Her and nodding to Alyssa Liu's halo hair on the runway. Her standout picks leaned sporty-chic, evoking a very specific New York-through-a-boxing-lens energy — think Raging Bull in motion.

The Cape Moment

For her own look, Lambe went somewhere unexpected: head-to-toe black in a Vuitton leather dress, a tailored cape, monogrammed bag, and ankle boots. "As soon as I got the cape on and looked in the mirror, I was sold," she says. The all-black was a departure from her usual palette — she cites '70s nostalgia, Danish street style, and the specific glamour of her Inuit community's fur-and-fringe, parka-on-the-land energy as her day-to-day references — but the subtle LV details (heel stamps, tiny cape tags) kept it from feeling like a costume. "Subtle and sexy," she called it. Correct.

The fashion detour is a well-timed one. Lambe's fall calendar reads like a studio executive's fever dream: North of North season two — filmed at a punishing -40°C in Iqaluit — hits Netflix this fall, followed by two major films in September: Heart of the Beast alongside Brad Pitt, and the heavily anticipated The Social Reckoning with Jeremy Allen White, Mikey Madison, and Jeremy Strong. She's said little about either, citing NDAs with cheerful self-preservation. What she will say: "It's a very exciting Libra season ahead."

Between a Netflix series championing authentic Inuit representation — most costumes sourced directly from local Indigenous artists — and a Louis Vuitton front row as her fashion-world entry point, Lambe isn't easing into anything; she's arriving fully formed.
